passably knowledgeable.



I have been in online communities for the last 25 years, bulletin boards,
fidonet, and usenet, there have always people like Phil and unfortunately
there always will be, if you can't handle that then join the local whist
club. There is something about the anonymity of being online that brings out
latent aggression in a lot of people, maybe that applies to you, you get
unnecessarily aggressive at times, or maybe you are like that in real life
too.



If Phil is a problem to you, killfile him, but if your mission in life is
to rid usenet of all the Phils, then you are going to live a miserable and
unproductive life.

interest. I need to check Oz Telecoms law but I doubt it differs wildly from our

I used telecoms law to get one site shut down for example. As in so fast you
wouldn't believe it. The ISP dropped him like a hot potato. Abuse events cost
