About ten huge muthafucka "wogs" come around and "visit" the client
and
urge him to see the error of his ways.

What I object to is the "hiring other people" bit. Having a face-to-face
is
one thing, having other people do it for you on the other hand...
Hot Chip readily admits he is one of the aforementioned "wogs" so would
merely be bringing some of his friends along when he goes to visit Mr
Assillon. Of course if Mr Chip couldn't be there in person I am sure plenty
of his friends would be more than happy to teach Phil a lesson once they
read his racist bile. No hiring of other people involved.

For the record I did go and visit our friend here but he would neither
answer his door or his phone and I could not gain entry to the secure
complex to tap on his door! He never even answered my polite message I left
on his answering machine. So I had photos taken of me standing out the
front of his dingy little block of flats instead. BTW I live 4,000km away
from him so he probably never expected me to drop by and have a polite chat
with him about his smutty little mouth!

What these abusive little Trolls must realise is that Usenet is not a free
for all where you can insult, malign, abuse, ridicules, libel and defame
without impunity from the law or other forms of retribution.

It is not my intent to incite violence here but because the law does not
allow for legal prosecution to place in these instances other ways must be
found to press the point home to an individual that his behaviour is
antisocial and will not be tolerated by society.

Previously I have even proposed a class action by interested people that
have been targeted by Philthy on Usenet to see if we could get some sort of
restraining order to prevent him having access to Usenet. So if there are
any "legal eagles" out there reading this now's your chance? Here is an
idea. What if everyone who Philthy has abused on Usenet put in US$10
towards the fighting fund? That would give someone a "shit load" of money
to play with! :)

Phil is like most people with mental health issues in that they do not
think they have a problem. We have another poster on AAPLS who is a
poster child for Paranoid Personality Disorder but even though their
behaviour is completely irrational they cannot see it themselves.
Hardest
step in getting treatment is admitting you have a problem in the first
place. In the UK you can be sectioned, in the US those that care about
you can do an intervention, no idea if you have anything similar in
Australia.

Yeah they do have something similar.

About ten huge muthafucka "wogs" come around and "visit" the client and

Apparently the success rate is startling.

Maybe something like this can be arranged? After all, we now have his
address. Personally I would prefer he get professional psychiatric help
but right now anything to get him to modify his online behaviour is pretty

much justified.

"Do not do to others what would anger you if done to you by others."

[Fri'it] knew from experience that true and obvious ideas, such as the
ineffable wisdom and judgement of the Great God Om, seemed so obscure to
many people that you actually had to kill them before they saw the error of
their ways...

(Terry Pratchett, Small Gods)

While I agree a good kicking would only reinforce the racist views Mr
Assillon has, in the absence of any other way to educate him that his
comments are offensive & illegal, I would rather have him receive a painful
and quick education which will instil enough fear in him that he stops his
rascist abuse than allow him to carry on posting his bile. Normally I abhor
violence but in his case it is well-deserved.
You may actually be right. I likewise abhor violence but I do recall an
instance when one guy I still know quite well could be an utter pest sometimes.
One day he excelled himself after a gig.

2 of us pinned him to the stage riser with a mic stand whilst one other sprayed
his balls with a CO2 fire extinguisher !

He smartened up a LOT after that. I can still recall him simply sliding to the
floor after the event but we had done no real physical harm to him.

In Allison's case, if he doesn't smarten up, a mass complaint to his ISP might
have an effect.

Two things of note here Graham:

1) Philthy's ISP doesn't care as long as his credit card is valid and also
they have had many complaints and some were even TPG subscribers as well.

2) Philthy is a dickless, ball-less wonder so forget the fire extinguisher
;-) If you do want to try it will only take one of you and that would be
with one arm tied behind your back.

Also if Ruff would join in and confirm this he was going to drive the
1000km odd from Melbourne to Sydney to see Philthy and drag him outside and
kick the shit out of him but Philthy rang him and after bleating on the
phone for mercy persuaded Ruff not to do it :-(

Then there was they guy in Liverpool ? who had his home raided by an armed

Apparently under newish laws a 'replica gun' may be treated as a real one.

If every one of his many 'victims' sent a *well-worded* complaint to his ISP
with full details, I doubt his connection would last very long. No cost involved
other than your time.

Abuse of AUP (acceptable use policy) and TOS (terms of service) are taken
seriously by major ISPs.

Here's the deal, you ring them up and you talk to them. Then when they tell
you Philthy uses an anonymous remailer from the Berlin University and they
can't be certain (Ha!!) it is really him then you come back here and
apologise to me and say I told you so.

Don't you think that any of this has been tried before? Or do you think we
(Australians) actually want this idiot giving us all a bad name?

I even had a lengthy discussion with my own ISP about this to see what
could be done regarding Philthy's ISP. At the end of the day TPG (Philthy's
ISP) do not care and only want his money as long as Philthy is not breaking
the law in this country.

BTW I do genuinely wish you all the best in this but honestly I have given
it a pretty good go. I am just so frustrated with the whole system here.
If I touch him I am in trouble, if I spend money and take on a lawyer for a
civil action the advice I had (from the lawyer) is it will cost me a lot and
I will definitely fail to recoup expenses. Philthy has *nothing*. He rents
a bed-sit, doesn't own a car (doesn't even have a license) and has some
meagre possessions which includes some kit speakers, a Sony CDP101 and a
guitar amp.

Also if you notice he doesn't actually abuse people that live in Sydney
because he knows they would drive around to see him. So he picks on people
at a distance and this is why he thinks he is invincible.
