with Phil you have to take the rough with the smooth and the smooth is
well worth the rough.

No I dont.

Your sort of cowardly appeasement only facilitates his insane racist
behavior.

No it doesn't. It simply recognises that he is ill.

No I'm sorry but you are *clearly* acting as an apologist for the guy, and
therefore it IS appeasement.

I have no quarrel with you Ian, but let's please be honest enough to call a

your "value" out of it.

Phil has endowed me with a few not so nice titles. He has also given me
some good advice. The proportion of each is not favorable.

But, it's probably best to listen to his advice & ignore the rest. He,
no doubt, is brash & crude. But he also has a soft side which shows

I'm inclined to agree with Dave, although I'm not a mental health

think Spike Milligan, brilliant when on an up and tearful when down, Used

The guy is obviously seriously ill mentally, and maybe could be helped. But

Phil is like most people with mental health issues in that they do not think
they have a problem. We have another poster on AAPLS who is a poster child
for Paranoid Personality Disorder but even though their behaviour is
completely irrational they cannot see it themselves. Hardest step in getting
treatment is admitting you have a problem in the first place. In the UK you
can be sectioned, in the US those that care about you can do an
intervention, no idea if you have anything similar in Australia. I think
that would be the only way Phi could get help although some of the racist
things he's posted later have actually crossed the line so far they are
illegal and I know of at least two people who have made official complaints
to the authorities in his area. Maybe going to jail will get him the help he
so badly needs?

Haw! I'll take that... ;-)

Seriously - I thought "WOG" meant "ward of (the) government"
as it was applied by the British to Indians on the dole or
somesuch. Looks like it's time to consult the Racial Slur
Database for more info...

Wog (1) <Asians> Abbreviation of either "White-", "Westernised-" or
"Worthy-Oriental Gentleman." Originally intended as a term
denoting respect. In common use, however, it became a term
of abuse/denigration.

Wog (2) <Greeks> Originated from the cheap labour sent to Australia
to work on Government project in return for citizenship
back around the 1940-1960's. Workers Of the Goverenment
was printed on the back of their coveralls. Made popular
by the movie "The Wog Boy."

Wog (3) <Indians> British Imperialists commonly referred to Indians
as "WOGS" since they were commonly used as security, it
stood for "Warden on Guard."

Wog (4) <Blacks> British, short for Golliwogg, a stuffed doll that
mimicked Blacks. Recently was dropped (ref) as the logo
used on jars of Robertson's jams and marmalades.

Woggle <Asians> Variation of Wog

(Information copied from http://www.rsdb.org/ )

Well, I was pretty close. Sort of. Once. ;-)

Save the effort as TPG don't care about anything except his
