1) you do not know the difference between hate and love it seems.
2) Chances are you do not want to or will ever learn.
3) US society does not want you to know.
4) US does not have the rocket technology Russia has, else why should
Boeing use Russian rockets to launch from a platform in the sea at the
equator .
5) Shuttle is not a real cost effective solution, if Russia could already years
ago build Mir with their rockets, that proves they could get anything in space
the shuttle can.
6) Your prfresident wants to go to mars and the moon, I say: He asked for it,
send him there.
7) Although US found out some nice stuff (transistor for example), most is now
produced in the East, and in a WW3 situation US would be WITHOUT all these
goodies.
8) This makes the US very vulnerable (to blackmail from other states for example).
9) Russia has a lot of oil resources, US has hardly any, Russia can supply itself.
US can not.
10) Soon electronic elections will make sure the Republicrits gate 99% of the votes
all the time.
11) Ice age will come and you all will have to flee to Mexico, but wait:
12) maybe you first have to swim as global sea level rises and Miami is flooded
(look at he water level under the bridges).
13) Those who are superstitious can skip this, but Bush COULD be re-elected and
invade California.
14) On the bright side 1000 nukes will make a night look like day.

Isn't the US funding the remnants of the Russian space program as well
as quite a bit of other Russian high technology ventures? Think so. Any
successful return means the Russians have retained self-oversight- the
American version would mean certain decay and disaster. NASA is a
world-class example of the worst possible mismanagement, waste,
corruption, and incompetence-a typical government operation in other
words. America is capable of doing MUCH better-BUT the disappointing
reality is that the worst corruption of industry, government
bureaucracy, and the workfarce is self-absorbed in a porcine feeding
frenzy at the national trough-ury.

Can you be more specific? Are you saying JFK was a "leftist"? I'll
confess I have a very unclear understanding of what John S. Dyson
means by "leftist" - - although he labels me one, as he describes it
I certainly am not. Neither would JFK be one, by Dyson's descriptions,
but JFK is generally thought of as a liberal, at any rate. Dyson has
repeatedly stated that John Fields is a leftist, further muddying the
water; does Dyson think anyone who disagrees with him is a leftist?

I dunno, I thought about it actually for about 62 seconds (+ or - 1%), and

it seemed to me, now that most of the world is stocking up on nukes
(except perhaps Ghadaffy who lost nerve and sold out), the balance shifts.
See, it maybe be true the US has 1000 nukes in subs pointed at most cities
in the world, but, the US is only so big.
Their anti-rocket system will likely fail half the time, half their rockets won't
even get of the ground, and more important, here:
Russia, France, India, Pakistan, China, and coming Germany, Iran, and a few more,
will, if the US keeps making enemies in international politics, form the 'other side'.
As for size of population and chances of survival, it seems a first strike
make even be possible from the 'other side'.
Or just a mistake..
Nuclear technology and the possession of plutonium and uranium becomes more and
more common place, and the balance will go the other way.
If political alliances are formed because of threads from the US to these countries,
it is all over for the 'muscle power' US has now in the backyard.
That and their little professional army.
So, the US is quickly losing its advantage, it has no resources of its own,
it has an incredible financial deficit, see if you are loaded with debt, you cannot
buy oil and uranium, you cannot bribe anyone, you can only threaten and concur.
But the US army will not run a mile without oil.

were 'conservative', and John Kennedy is more of the George Bush
politics than the John Kerry far leftism and war crimes, the lefties

That's right, it never ever met the criteria. They had an extensive
class of privileged rich people, which violates the very principle of
any communism. The USSR was nothing more than a techn-feudalism of
the Politburo families who stole the production of the USSR and
sold it world-wide to enrich themselves and sock it in offshore
banks. When they had enough and the lie was decaying too badly
they let the walls fall down and now run Russia as the Russian Mafia
that put Vlad Putin in power, and true to form he has suspended the
freedom of the press again.

You see, if you divided the wealth by the work, and take care of
the helpless, then that might be close to communism, but if all
you do is have a minority steal most of the GDP and then divide the
remainder equally among the impoverished so that most people are
simply equally POOR, then what you have is just a classic feudalism
with a ruling privileged caste!

We have Capitalism in the USA, which is another kind of Feudalism.
A third of the people claim to own all the houses and are renting
to the lower third, which is just a form of monthly feudal tribute,
since nobody deserves to actually own another person's home! We were
all born equally naked and ignorant and no one actually has the
right to believe they own another's home, most of whom certainly
NEVER did that much more work in their lives than the renters did.

And the rest of you are mortgage slaves, convinced that you OWN your
home, when fewer than half of you will finish paying by your effective
end of life! You pay tribute monthly to a feudal nobility but have
effectively only a few more rights. When you're done you have had the
qeustionable privilege of paying someone else for a property that BY
RIGHTS you SHOULD have OWNED OUTRIGHT AT BIRTH AND NEVER HAD ANYONE
ABLE TO QUESTIION THAT!

Why? Because you were born here and inherited an equal share of the
entirety of previously produced human wealth and aedifices from all
of our common ancestors. What else IS it called when some claim to
inherit more of the earth than YOu do?? Simple, it is called Feudalism
by a phony "Nobility"! Their power was inherited, and they enslaved
you for life and now you're dying and too old to benefit from your
ownership for much longer, and it gets divided and lost by your
