Strange. No Moslem I've met has complained and indeed a few of them join

Agreed. It's probably only the more conservative sects that would find it
offensive. I've bent the elbows with a few Muslims as well.

Before Hitler - no holocaust.

After Hitler - no holocaust.

Wow. Before [Insert anyone who lived between 1930 - 1945] no
holocaust. After [same person] no holocaust.

So you see no connection between Hitler and the holocaust.

I see a connection but the same connection can be said about many
people. Your example was meant to imply that Hitler was the sole
driving force for the Holocaust. This is not the case.

Sure, there were other forces. Yes, there was plenty of anti-Jewish
sentiment in Germany around then. The economy was still in the
toilet from the Great Depression, but it's not clear to me that the
average German blamed the Jews--even if so, I suspect not anywhere
near the way Hitler did. However, don't you think it really required
a charming (in a Germanic sort of way) misanthropic psychopath with a
serious chip on his shoulder about the Jews, to whip everybody into a
"the Jews caused all of your problems" frenzy so they could put aside
their personal revulsion at eventually killing millions of their
fellow human beings? I guess there could have been another person
that combined that level of insanity, misanthropy, megalomania,
cunning, opportunity and charm, but I'd be really surprised.

Eric Lucas

Hey man, that's Na.. Right tactic.... blame 'em before and you will not
be guilty at last. You could say: "They (Na...) just tried to get an
order in all this chaos, released by the technical-outlet at that time."

In 1930, Germany hears FM Radio. I am still beating any other
wave-transceiver with my Onkyo Tuner.... Digital??? What's that. etc.
etc. etc. etc. etc. Panavision etc. Jerry Lewis (what a great picture
quality on PAL and surely in NTSC, too), etc, etc.

I guess it is for all the ones you see. There's a wide variety of
movies available, and you can just watch "action" movies if that's
your taste. In the US, the rote violence-and-car-crash movies are in
fact not selling well any more... they're all the same, and video
games are cheaper. The megahit violence movies often turn a profit on
international distribution. I suppose violence is universal, whereas
American romance doesn't export as well.

"La Femme Nikita" was pretty gross. "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" was an
unexpected hit. You never know what will sell.

I don't think so. A couple of things are at work here. One is the

That's certainly not "all I do." In fact, I don't do that at all.

I can assure you that the British public is getting VERY
pissed off. I was just watching 'Question Time' and there was a very
anti-US feeling from the audience.
All those MPs watch too much TV, too.

Without a change of tack, I can see the North Atlantic Alliance falling
apart in the next couple of years.
Since the Russians are fairly docile these days, and Germany is
united, and Eastern Europe is free, it may as well; NATO did its job,
and did it well, and it's time for us to spend our money elsewhere.
Send us a "thank you" card and some chocolates maybe. Unless Russia
invades Georgia... that would be nasty, but the resulting European
dynamics would be interesting, probably hilarious in a sick sort of
way.

No way of knowing that for sure. Hitler's insanity contributed heavily to

I don't think any other branch of government has ever defied the

Well, Lincoln defied them, once. Those were exceptional times,
