Hello;
The real application is:
30 < Vin < 9 and Vo= 15 V @ 7A
As you see, it is both a step up and step down converter.
Would you please show me how to design it with MC34063A?
Thank you in advance.
Hassan
I have added two additional schematics at the site I sent you to before
http://www.fncwired.com/StepDnEx/
It has a step-up and a step-up/step-down schematic added. The program I am
using is "FNC-Elcad". You can see more about it, where the schematics are
(just click on "Home" or "Program Guide" while you are there). Hope this
helps. If you have anymore questions, please feel free to ask.

found that the output of 7 volts when unloaded is floating high to 13v

causing the raise. What is the possible solution to this?

Are the 3 and 7 volt outputs both positive?
Do the 3 and 7 volt outputs share a common return?
What are the rated full load currents for each output?

both are positive
No, there are individual return seperately
That rules out sharing currents in the 3 volt winding.

the rated full load are 2.2A for 3 Volts and 1.2 A for 7volts respectively.
I think I would try winding part of the 7 volt winding bifilar with
the 3 volt winding and putting the rest on top of that. And you will
probably need to add some minimum load to the 7 volt output so that it
is never completely unloaded.

That's funny. I thought that was what _you_ were saying: the

"Gaussian" means that samples of the instantaneous noise signal form a random

sharp cutoff.
Because that's what "us guys" are also saying.

No, I started with paper tape, and only used punchcards later, when
affordable fast card readers became available; had to design my own
interfaces, and patch the assemblers and interpreters to read cards.
I've programmed a million lines or two in uppercase, about another
four thousand in the last few weeks, and it all just works. If
"ossified" means that programming embedded systems is fast, easy,
routine, and bug-free, I suppose I am that.

Embedded code should be a utility, a dependable if minor component of
a product. But if you do a bad enough job in a modern OO language, you
can make it look hard and get a lot of attention, and make a career of
it.

How dumb are you? It is in the public interest that these bonds be tax

to give the government an advantage in

attracting the most investors at the lowest rate- a rate of return paid
for by the taxes of the locality BTW. The *factual* reports are that THK
has distributed her investments approximately 50:50 this way-
approximately 2.8M$ tax free income from them.

Well, Kerry will put a stop to that, you say!

Why would he, idiot?

Well, NO HE WON'T!! If
he did, besides raising his own taxes, he would raise the bond
interest costs paid by munis (that's you & me, if you don't know what
a muni is) by 70%. Which will mean higher local and state taxes to
pay the higher interest cost.

That is the most nonsensical you have barfed so far! Do you talk with a
lisp and other form of speech impediment too?

Where the hell are you getting that? Tax free municipal will stay tax
free, it is only the dividends and capital gains on non-tax free
investments that will be taxed for the higher income people. Kerry has
no proposals concerning changing any bond rates, idiot.

Can you spell "ad hominem"? Do you know what that means? Obviously
not.
It is not ad hominem to address you by your rightfully deserved title.

OK, what makes one tax dodge pc and another a shameless corporate
scam? Political spin, of course.

Almost everything you say is so incredibly ignorant. Investing in tax
free municipal bonds is not a tax dodge.

Of course it is. People invest in munis to avoid paying taxes on
interest. That is the ONLY reason they buy the munis.
Let me see if I have this straight. Those bonds are issued to pay for
public works with tax free interest to induce investors, and you call
those investors tax dodgers when they participate? That is not correct
and you know it! A true tax dodge is using some loophole *unanticipated*
by Congress to avoid paying tax. I was under the impression that this
tax stuff might be something you understood- but I see now you're
another one who is "dumb as shit"-or is this another of your
pseudo-discussions which is really about getting the Rove slurs in
print. Your boy there is going to jail- I don't think he will last out
his sentence.

Those bonds were issued to pay

for a public works project, it is in the interest of the citizens of the
locality to borrow money at the lowest rate, and a tax free bond will
attract by making their lower tax free interest rate competitive. This
is not political spin- it is common sense.

The spin part is demonizing one tax preference while you PERSONALLY
benefit from another.
You say closing the *unanticipated* loopholes with phony offshore
subsidiaries and overseas abuse is "demonizing"? You are one sick
un-American piece of trash!

Geez- I wonder if Arlington,

Texas issued a bond to put that $135 Million investment in Bush's new
Ranger stadium? Duh ya' think? That deal there is about the single
greatest source of his existing wealth.

That's still ok, you say. Nobody making less than $200k is going to
have their taxes raised. Wrong again, bucko. First, the Bush tax cuts
are due to expire. Expiring with them are the middle income tax
cuts, 10% lower income tax bracket and $2,000 child credit.

Those baseline tax cuts have been extended to "sunset" in the year 2010-
they are safe and Kerry has pledged to maintain them. You're not even up
on the latest news.

Oh yes I am. Without legislative action taxes WILL increase
dramatically in 2010. Republicans will hold Kerry's feet to the fire
on this issue, making a deadlock highly probable:

Although the House strongly opposed it, Title IX of the Economic
Growth and Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2001 provides that the Act
shall not apply after December 31, 2010. The Senate added this
provision at the last minute to avoid a minority challenge to the
bill.

Title IX will result in a multi-billion dollar automatic tax increase
on January 1, 2011. The top income tax rate will rise from 35%
per-cent to 39.6% while the lowest rate will shoot up 50%. The child
credit will drop from $1,000 to $500, the annual contribution limit on
IRAs will drop from $ 5,000 to $ 2,000, and the marriage penalty and
death tax will reappear in toto.
Right- there is nothing in Kerry's plan to increase taxes for income
under $200K.

How many of you know what the AMT (Alternative Minimum Tax) is? Many
of you are going to find out. This tax can hit people making as
little as $75k-not exactly your typical filthy rich bastard. By 2010
virtually everybody amking over $90k will be paying AMT instead of
the "regular" income tax. One group that got hit very hard in the
last few years were those who got stock options that turned out to be
worthless; except to the IRS where they are used in the AMT
calculation. And they AMT deduction is going back to its original
pre-Bush level abscent Congressional action. This is a $13k drop,
which is taxed at 26%, or about a $3,300 TAX INCREASE!

It looks like the AMT issue has been neglected by Congress period- at
this time it is not statistically significant. But it will be soon by
all economic projections. So this is a problem for both Republicans and
Democrats.

It's a problem for anyone caught in its trap. By 2010 the GAO
estimates that 17% of tax payers will fall into its jaws. It was
addressed by Bush's tax cuts: the AMT deduction was raised by $13k and
the income by $25k. These will revert back to previous levels in 2010.

The point of the AMT is that it trumps the income tax. This means that
an INCOME TAX CUT is rendered NULL AND VOID by the AMT. This, in turn,
means that those paying the AMT are not benefiting from the tax cut
and will not generate any new tax revenue for Kerry if he raises
taxes.

This problem will be dealt with at the proper time. It is a bipartisan
concern.

You are beyond pathetic- how damned dumb are you parasite space-fillers
at PNNL anyway?

Can you spell "ad hominem"? Do you know what that means?
Yes- it means "let's drop the act and call a spade a spade."
