It's close enough that people who aren't paying attention will
mistake it for a post from me. Yet Paolo Amoroso protects the scum that
use his anonymous "Service" to harass people.

In other words, the retarded bastards' own policy regarding harassment
means nothing to him. And he is a TOTAL RETARD if he thinks for a second
that faking posts from others, or even closely, but not quite completely
cloning them nonetheless still DOES constitute harassment.

He is lucky this isn't the old west. He'd likely weigh a few hundred
grains more in the skull cavity.

It would be nice to find out where he leases his backbone access from
and then complain to them to see if some pressure could be brought to
bear on the idiots that pull this horseshit.

I can guarantee you that many of them are the kook group members, the
hacker group asswipes, and the group of dopes that are on the committee
for new group acceptance procedures. They all think they are goddamned
gurus, but they fucked up the moment they stepped over the line, and
abused the service by pulling the horseshit they do. In doing so, they
compromised everything the industry is about. They are just as bad as an
author of a virus, and should be treated just as harshly.

But I still must agree that Terrell and JeffM are pieces of shit,
because they are about as childish as it gets on these groups, and have
been so for years.

What is good for the goose is good for the gander. Clean up your own
act, fuckheads. Make your complaints about the forgers, and if the
bastard Amoroso or whoever he morphs into next week has any brains, he'll
straighten out his fucking act too.

Thanks for revealing another nym. <PLONK>

If you have some more nyms handy you *could* try to explain how a higher
resistance meter movement or DVM module with the same FSD could read a
particular current at FSD with a lower resistance shunt, but then you'd
have to understand basic electrical theory. I'm not holding my breath.

Yes, when "you" make a choice... but this thread is not one comparing
CFL lamps to standard tube-types.
Taken literally THIS thread is NOT about lamps at all then. It is only about
"Stevenson = fucking moron".

However we all get to choose how we respond, you ONLY get to make your
choices NOT mine.
If you don't like it, simply move on to the next post/thread.

You may choose to argue on a
tangent, that is your privilege and absolute right.
Thank you.

Looking for parts for a Sharp commercial microwave R23FT.

Need DPWBFB062WRU0 or MODPWBFB062WRU0 control unit (circuit board).

Need FPNLCA986WRK0 control panel frame with keypad (used considered)
or just the keypad if new / NOS.

These parts may be respectively mislabeled as DPWBFB062WRUo
FPNLCA986WRKo and MODPWBFB062WRUo.

Will also consider an entire used oven R23FT depending on location and
condition.

I was thinking of that before I saw it. Look at the thread
above this one
called "Search OpAmp chip as a voltage follower" for a
description of
using
a FET to buffer a high impedance source. That same idea will
let you get a
look at that waveform without disturbing it much. The FET and
a single
resistor to a stable DC rail should be all you need, then
scope the FET
output signal.

FET input op-amp as non-inverting unity gain buffer might
also be enough,
and more likely to be close at hand.
If you are seeing 3-4 volts swing on one of the pins, then I
would say the
resonator is working ok. Don't worry too much about the wiggle
in the
waveform.
Thanks for reply,
that is what i see about 4 volts height on wave forms on both
pins . One is slightly bent sine wave the other has a big dent in
the wave

thanks for help

Don't sell yourself short, dimbulb. You are the most childish on any
of the electronics newsgroups, followed closely by a tie between Phil
Allison and Grise. If you were an adult you could control your
language, and you wouldn't change your sock every few days.

What is good for the goose is good for the gander. Clean up your own
act, fuckheads. Make your complaints about the forgers, and if the
bastard Amoroso or whoever he morphs into next week has any brains, he'll
straighten out his fucking act too.

I wonder how many terrorists use his free and anonymous service to
plot attacks?

Some domestic appliances come with rechargeable cells that need charging
for many hours before their first use.

For example, I have a Panasonic DECT phone with two AAA NiMH cells which
needs charging for 7 hours.
I have often wondered that myself. I see this warning ONLY with
consumer appliances. When I buy cells, the data sheet never says
anything about needing to charge them fully before the first use in
order to avoid some sort of permanent damage or capacity reduction.

I have since ignored the warnings about needing a full charge before
first use, with no observed ill effects.

Hi:

One major reason the luminance signals of television are broadcasted on an
AM-carrier instead of FM is because FM requires large amounts of
bandwidth. Is there a way to use FM video without hogging so much
bandwidth?

Quotes from
http://groups.google.com/group/sci.electronics.basics/msg/0c013cf5371da8dc?hl=en& :

Multiple-level quadrature modulation,
"constellation modulation",
is most common for packing
lots of bits per Hz of bandwidth.
The more you pack,
the better the s/n ratio has to be.

Does this mean that Quadrature Modulation and Constellation Modulation
can -- at least in theory -- be applied to FM video so that excessive
bandwidth is not needed? If so, then what would be the minimum
radio-frequency required to transmit the video signal?
No.

These are like special modified forms of AM.

You can only use these to reduce bandwidth of an FM signal in the same way
that you can use AM to reduce the bandwidth of an FM signal. It just won't
be FM any more.

Thanks for the good advice. I just have a bit of experience in temp
controlling op-amps, but it sounds worth it. I nearly have a truck
load
of thermistors ranging from 402 SMD to the typical large round
versions. As far as I know it would take a bit of trial and error to
calibrate such a thermistor offset circuit for the op-amp? Also I
suppose there's no reason to add more thermal insulation to prevent
the op-amp temperature from varying as much.

"No reason _not_ to add", yes? Also,:

One reason not to put an electrometer amplifier in an oven is that
you'll greatly increase the input bias current at normal operating
temperatures (since the oven has to run somewhat hotter than the
hottest possible Ta to be effective).

OK, then, how about in a little Peltier fridge? :)

Just be very careful about condensation.

Thanks so much for the kindly replies!

Well, I am sorry about the typo in my post: the OUT IMPEDANCE of my
sensor circuit is typically "20 MOhm" (but NOT 20G).

The OPA2350 and OPA657 seem exacly what I am looking for. However, I
am still not sure whether they could be used as a voltage follower.
You know, sometimes a low closed-loop gain will cause a terrible self-
excitation, and that always happens for the wide-band op-amps. And
that is exactly the reason why I abandoned op37 or ad746. Well, I
guess I really need to read more in electronics... : )

Hello, I am now looking for an Operation Amplifer chip able to be a
voltage follower, which I need to use as a buffer between my sensor
circuit and the digitizer. Can anybody help me?

Since the output impedance of my sensor circuit is about 0.2 Gohm, the
follower needs to have a input impedance much higher than that (Maybe
a JFET one could work).

The input signal is always sinusoidal, with an amplitude = 1~2V, and a
variable frequency = 10KHz~1MHz, and the noise at the output is
required to be <1uV.

Your requirements do not make any sense. Change it to something more
realistic.

0.2GOhm @ 1MHz = ~ 8e-4 pF. Not feasible.

1uV @ 1MHz = ~ 1nV/sqrt(Hz). Not feasible.

1uV @ 1Mhz @ 0.2GOhm =~ 5e-3fA/sqrt(Hz). Not feasible.

0.2GOhm @ 300K @ 1MHz = ~1.8mV of thermal noise already.

I tried AD712, but its bandwidth seems not enough for the 1MHz signal.
And the AD746 showed a terrible self-excitation as being used as a
follower.

I suggest OPA2350. But your requirements just can't be met by any
technology.

What do you mean ? It has an inverter stage designed for clock oscillator use

No internal crystal. It has the inverter etc, but always needs an
external crystal. Of course you can also feed it with an external
oscillator.

Can you provide an example of any IC that has an internal crystal ?

Graham
I wrote that it does NOT have an internal crystal, like most other
parts. But the 8051 also has no internal RC oscillator. It needs
external parts.
