I like (and appreciate) this info - it will help me decide on the brand of
my next purchase on this type of gear.
Your story is truly unbelieveable ! Call a radio / TV station - they'd be
interested in hearing from you.
It's SO common no-one will be interested.

Just when I thought LG was OK, you might have saved me a load of dosh -
I'll
avoid them like the plague.
Since they're nearly all like that, at least some of the time, better not
buy anything then. You will indeed save a load of dosh :)

Have a look at what he said. Comes across as a impatient person and
the customer from hell.
Maybe, but I wonder how long you would be prepared to wait for your $9000 TV
to be repaired, and how happy you would be for the performance to be a lot
lower when returned?
After using Sony TV's exclusively for 25 years, I gave up and bought a cheap
Chinese set. Now I can throw it away when it breaks down and instantly get a
new one, rather than put up with what they laughingly call a service
department. No way would I pay $9000 for something that will probably be
unrepairable in a few years.
