That's blatantly false. Our state has had multiple
very important confirmed orders taken over by Trump.
Our orders were shipped to the US govt, which appears
to be stockpiling the gear. In one case we had paid
in advance, and had our payment returned. So our
hospitals are begging, and being denied items they
had on confirmed order, with a scheduled shipment.
Our Governor, who is a republican, is tearing his
hair out, and yesterday very publicly expressed his
frustration and anger. It's an anger we share.

Which state is that?

I don't think its a matter of being out-bid.

It's not. Business doesn't work that way. In fact, when a company cancels an accepted order they can be held liable for non-delivery if it wasn't something beyond their control. Fortunately for them, the DPA is beyond their control. Not so good for the states.

But Trump supporters don't want to hear about it. It is so apparent that the guy is running open loop without any idea of what to do to deal with this mess.

I do sometimes try to put myself in the other people's shoes and think of what reasonable complaints people had about Obama and even Clinton. While Clinton did some things to bring disgrace to the image of the office, his decisions as President weren't so bad. Obama may have done some things that didn't work out so well, but nothing he did was very bad and he brought us the ACA which was the single biggest step any party has done in 50 years. While there are plenty of valid complaints about it, it was the first step on the road to improving healthcare.

I just can't see anything that a Democratic President has done that remotely compares to the insanity from Carrot Top!

Whatever. At this point Trump is a lame duck. At the moment his popularity is nearly at an all time high. I recall learning how Kennedy's popularity actually rose after the Bay of Pigs fiasco. It had something to do with him seeming more human after screwing up. Well, if it works the same way for Trump, he should have a popularity well over 100% by the time he is finished with the virus issue.

Irritating it may be, but that's how strategic resources are allocated during an
emergency; one stockpile controlled centrally, all petitions for those goods go
through the same process, so no slow-to-order state or region gets left out (in
theory).

Yeah, they only have to call and say what a good job he is doing,
then they would get the discount.

Corrupt.

He added a rider to the Senate bill removing the oversight

Trump businesses getting funded by this bill.

Massively corrupt.

Any banana republic leader would mask it better.

Yeah... to keep down the assassination desire factor at least.

Trump is corrupt, but not open - he is quite happy to hide his feelings
or real opinions (if he has any). He says what he thinks it will be
advantageous (for himself) to say, with a total disregard for whether it
is true, false, consistent, in line with his own thoughts, or anything
else. He likes to give the impression that he speaks "from the liver",
because it fools his fans. If he thought a slower, more careful, and
deliberate appearance would help his popularity, he'd switch to that
style in an instant.

Look at how often he contradicts himself, especially his opinion on
people. He regularly swaps from praising someone to insulting them
within days. Is he being "brutally honest" both times? If so, you have
a leader whose thoughts and opinions shift with the breeze, which is
just as useless as one who is a corrupt liar.

Sounds great, but there's no indication the federal government is doing this. It made big news when Trump used the DPA to order GM to make ventilators. I've not seen a peep about him using the DPA to buy existing production of ventilators or other medical products. Without using the DPA the feds have no authority to take control of any production or products.

You would expect the feds to be making much noise about it if they were doing this. That would be a clear sign of strength in Trump helping grow his support.

Right! Wait, what? He said he would have it built in his first term and Mexico would pay for it. Mexico isn't paying for anything, he is stealing money appropriated for the national military and he has only completed less than 10%???!!!

150 miles of pre-existing wall sections, refurbished. That is like

We built bombers faster and they are way more complicated than a

If one asks the contractors he filched hundreds of millions of

All Trump is or ever was amounts to nothing more than a sleazy,

in and could not even do that right. He spilled huge clouds of

It's totally a problem. The states cannot ethically be

So, a federal authority that favors some states is a

The insane part is that he did it publicly as a statement

Donald Trump has been a bare-faced liar all his life.
Brutally honest
isn't the right phrase - he's just a bully and he lacks the
comprehension to be subtle about it.

LOL! You idiots are simultaneously saying Pres Trump lies and
makes thr

Flyguy has this delusion that liars lie all the time. In reality
they onl

make threats - he was going to build a wall on the US-Mexico
border, and get the Mexicans to pay for it - but you can't rely on
them lying all the time.

Look, folks... Hoo Hee Lou Hee grabbed a new nym. If you ain't
him, you sure do act like him. Are you his butt buddy?

150 miles of pre-existing wall sections, refurbished. That is like
2mm on the 1 meter stick. Very VERY little progress and a lot of
wasted dollars. You kill your case with your own statistics.
HAHAHAHA!

We built bombers faster and they are way more complicated than a
wall. Sounds to me like Trump lied again when he said he was this
great master builder. Sounds to me like yet another fraud opening to
finnel hundreds of millions of dollars into favored pockets.

If one asks the contractors he filched hundreds of millions of
dollars worth of work from, in New York and New Jersey, it was THEY
whom were doing the knowing part. Trump is dumber than dogshit.

All Trump is or ever was amounts to nothing more than a sleazy,
criminal level rent collector and mob money launderer, and fail to
pay debt builder bankruptcy artist. He pumped his filched money back
in and could not even do that right. He spilled huge clouds of
Asbestos laden air all over the people of New York City and
surrounding areas as well. And he acted like he did not do that,
then when faced with facts, he acted like it was no big deal. And he
aslo raised his family to be criminals and to the point where they
may not even understand their own criminality (the daughter stealing
fashion designs)(the daughter taking part in illicit land grabs his
'organization' commits).

The wall IS being built AND the completed portions are effective:

Note to you libtards: it is NOT necessary to build a wall over the entire 2,000 border miles.
