$50 is small change, I do not ask for the refund, you forced it
to me. I would not spend all this time for ten fold of the
amount. On the other hand, an insult to a customer is a grave
matter. You do not loose only $50 but you loose all the future
sales because of that. Then again why should I teach you how to
run your own business?

Again, you have my email.

Hello Darwin,
if you have the goods now. give them back
to Dontronics or pay for them. That is fair.

All the other rude stuff is a separate issue.

I will, but it is not yet arrived.

Darwin, give it away mate. You can't make a silk purse out of a pigs
ear, and similarly no matter what you say it seems clear from his
responses that Don is not going to deal with the issues you raise - he
seems set on proving you are in the wrong rather than apologising and
sending his staff off for some basic training in customer service.

Over the years I have found there is only one way to deal with blokes
like that - tell em to get stuffed and find someone who knows how to run
a business. Generally people like this are not willing to listen or
learn, though from your posts we can appreciate how hard you have tried
to teach him a little about courtesy and good management.

Good luck

hi, the thing is the guy should have received the parcel within a week.
from dontronics.

in this day and age it doesnt take any longer that 7 days to get a letter
or parcel from anywhere in australia to go to anywhere in australia.

i know cause i send a average of 6 parcels a week all over australia, and no
has had to wait more than 7 days.
i`ve even ordered from a place i think called futurelec ????? in australia ,
a eprom programmer and that came direct from thailand within 9 working
days......they must just get it sent direct from there.

i f don was gonna be any longer should have emailed, phoned, written and let
the guy know that it was going to be a long time.

i mean , the other day i got a parcel sent fed ex from the states, and it
got delivered to my door in 7 days.....

its just very poor organization skills, if a parcel takes anything longer
than 7 day s to get delivered in austrailia

You neglected to blame me for the children overboard, the demise of Mark

Now that you are showing your colours, I'll rest my case.

Don...

(apologies Rod and Phil, it's a joke, and I know you guys can handle
jokes, you
do don't you? Oohhppsss....... Now I may be in real trouble.)

Further to my previous post, I have received a courteous email from Don
providing more information about this situation, and the reasons behind the
delay in supply of the goods Darwin wished to purchase.

While I still do not fully agree with Don about the way Darwins complaints
were handled, I must comment that his firm, initially at least, made a
serious and appropriate attempt to advise Darwin about the delay with his
order.

Hopefully this situation will be resolved to the satisfaction of all

David

PS: I add, just in case, that Don's email did not contain any derogatory
comments about Darwin.
