If the men leave, where will babies come from? I\'d expect the women to
follow.

And if the smart men leave, who will design electronics?

Long term, this will further dumb down the Russian population.

100K dead, 300K drafted and 500K left. So, there might be 1M more men than women. However, China has perhaps 50M more m than w. Russia might exchange w for m with China. Perfect partnership without limit.

This is what Russian regimes do to survive. They did that during
the collapse of the Soviet block, opened up the borders and all the
\"troublemakers\" - smarter people who could do more just immigrated.
The KGB mafia had then only to deal with the average population
(this was/is happening in Bulgaria, too - so I have observed it
directly), a lot easier to do. Falling behind has never been an
issue for them, all they want is to maintain control over the
society - be it a technological one or an ancient Egyptian one.

Not a bad deal for the civilized world - they got most of the
most useful part of the East block population. Not all they got
of course but the deal was good.

Based on some not very scientific Youtube interviews, a lot of young
russians speak English and like Europe and don\'t approve of killing
Ukrainians. And want to leave. That enriches the remaining population
with Russian-only speakers and haters of the West and especially the
USA.

With an embargo on parts for planes and industries and everything, and
exodus of the smart people, it looks like a giant step backwards,
which will further impoverish and embitter the haters.

What a weird place.

I just fired Godaddy as website hosting company
Moved all important email addresses elsewhere
Website server and domain auto renewal will be canceled shortly.

A university here found mIcrosoft web hosting is insecure as it has access to all your data,
godaddy moved to microsoft office, no more pop email, what a crap,

microsoft has been sucking users for way too long.

will buy a suitcase or two and smuggle in what they need for years

Russians really can\'t just go anywhere they want. Almost nobody wants them living in their country. Every country whose name ends in \"-stan\" hates Russians, and for good reason.

Looks like Kazakhstan is just a way to points south, Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan, who are probably looking to fleece them. Then of course there\'s no love of Russians in Turkey. The whole world hates Russia and Russians.
