Why do I envision JDURBAN, CLARENCE, and SEIM as impotent overweight
little
men sitting in a dark room pounding away on their keyboards day in and
day out seeking any attention they can scrape up here? Anyone that
puts out as many kooky posts is either a shut in or has absolutely
nothing going on in life or career.

Since I have 3 kids & 2 grandkids I don't think that I am impotent.

You are now.

At 6'2" and 223lb I don't think I am obese (but I could stand to lose
20-25).

Yes you could- you are evidently a fat slob.

Probably by your Twiggy physique.
Haha- your only size advantage over me is a fat gut and fat head:)

I can still do 45 push-ups, but I gave up the mountain
climbing years ago.

45 push-ups is a warm-up, but you're actually way above average for a
fat slob- so I concede you are not entirely as weak as your brain. My
standard of measure for physical fitness is the military PFT ( phys
fitns test) and that is : 72 pushups in under 2 mins, 72 bent leg crunch
in under 2 mins, and 3 mile run in 18 minutes or less ( in field boots)-
actually that is for 21 yo and less- it pro-rates for old age.

By Army standards I score a 91 for my age. Not 100, but not bad
either.
What is your age?

You call it your standard, but you don't say if you actually do it (or
ever did it). You are always ready to criticize someone else, but
never yourself.
I have been scoring +100% since age 17.

I suspect that if W hadn't invaded Iraq, all the dems would now be
trashing him for *not* going in.

I would have preferred that. Getting trashed doesn't kill innocent
people by the thousands.

Question for the American people - Given $200billion to piss away would you
rather have:

(a) A protracted war in Iraq following a pointless invasion
(b) A moonbase

C - none of the above: I'd piss it away by making the government give it
back to the people they stole it from.
That is the least likely option.

A bit late considering that this was before Saddam inexplicably 'turned evil'
around 1990. While he was dumping those bodies into mass graves he was our good pal.

War is no fun:

There it is, folks - the Marines turned 50 freedom fighters into
thousands.

The problem is not with the Marines. They are just puppets on strings
in this crazy war.
Aren't they actually called "Terrorists" now?
I know they are in Palestine!

So what is your point here?
That fewer deaths is better than lots of deaths?

You are often very unclear, and reply
with smoke curtains.
Of course I'm unclear. Nobody understands politics or economics or
human dynamics; all you can do is wonder and marvel at the complexity
and contradictions. That's why engineers and scientists agree on
things, but economists and sociologists don't. I'm pretty good with
electronics, but can't pretend to be able to predict next month's
weather or the consequences of political acts. People who *do* think
that they fully understand these things are the ones smoking stuff.

Old enough!

Great!
I have one of these things for travel exercise, mine max's at 160 pounds
tension which I occasionally use at home for three sets x15 repetitions
power push-up. I really don't care for it much because it leaves a big
purple welt across my back- but it beats a backpack loaded with weights
which cuts blood flow at the shoulders. It was a simple matter to do 45
speed pushups with a single 80 pound band- feels like a feather compared
to the 160. As for unresisted pushups- I can get mad and hammer out 100
in under 120 seconds- but you would only do this as a test and not as
training exercise- a training pushup would be 3 seconds down, 3 seconds
up- etc slo mo, whereas the test is a quick drop and fast push for speed
which really does not make you strong.
