Who makes \"war crime\" law? The winner of the last war.

Well, no. In the case of WW II Germany, it was prosecution under German
law that was definitive. If it was illegal under German law to round up
a few dozen citizens and execute them without trial, then it was illegal
in German-held territories. Effective war tactics, while brutal, were
not found to be illegal (notably, Otto Skorzeny was not prosecuted for war crimes).

There are treaties on treatment of prisoners of war, for example, that
are also enforceable law. There are US examples of conviction of US
military jailers for such things, from Iraq.

Go help Ukraine defend itself against Russia.

Being a keyboard cheerleader doesn\'t help Ukrainians.

John Doe\'s ideas about the vast superiority of the invading Russian forces over the Ukranian army and it\'s auxiliaries are worth about as much as all his other demented delusions. He\'s the prime example of foolishness on show around here.

The only obvious possible outcome of encouraging Ukrainians to throw
Molotov cocktails at Russian soldiers is that Ukrainians will throw
Molotov cocktails at Russian soldiers.

If that\'s not the alleged war crime you were referring to, then you need
more than a rhetorical question to support your position.

You all seem to forget one word here...

INVADING Russian soldiers. Meaning that ALL of THEIR actions are
crimes and ALL the Ukraine people come up with to repel them are NOT
crimes!

Worried about a burning cocktail? These invading assholes need a
few MOABs dropped onto their asses along with a few incindiary bombs.
Up and down the line. Let the rest surrender as they see the flames
and explosions heading their way. Just like Saddam\'s elite guard.
First the troops pay, then the head of the snake too. BUNKER BUSTERS
for Putin AT the Kremlin! Blow that war mongering building to hell.

Nope, no apologies here.

Like it or not... I\'m presenting the non-Western propagandist side of the
story.

The only justification I can think of for NATO\'s aggressive expansion,
their attempt to establish a first strike capability against Russia...
Someday, one of the major powers (or conceivably a minor power) will
develop a super sinister all-powerful weapon (for example, a device that
disables nukes) and take over the world. Would Russia employ it against
the rest of the world? Probably. So would the other powers.

Either that, or the slow march of the New World Order takes over. In
either case, eventually there will be one world government. That\'s when
the screws begin to tighten on ordinary people.

So, oh well.

I have no idea how. Superduper Patriot missiles? But that\'s probably very
messy and still destroys much life on this planet.

It could involve biological weapons. Immunizing their own people and then
letting it loose. There are all sorts of possibilities.

\"Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men
are almost always bad men, even when they exercise influence and not
authority, still more when you superadd the tendency or the certainty of
corruption by authority.\" (Lord Acton)

https://history.hanover.edu/courses/excerpts/165acton.html

Power is sucked up into the top. Eventually when there is only one world
government, there will be no \"balance of power\". When governments are no
longer played against each other, that will be it for the citizenry.

In some ways, seems that happens already, governments cooperate against the
people, in secret. When there is only one world government, it gets ugly.
There is a solution (however difficult to believe), but it\'s not man-made.

John Doe\'s idea of the future is about as reliable as his ideas about the past. He doesn\'t understand what has happened and extrapolates his delusions into a future that\'s even more implausible than his ideas about what is going on at the moment.

The \"world government\" he\'s so worried about would sit on top of a whole lot of regional governments, in the same way that the US federal government coexists with fifty one state governments. Getting them coordinated to act against the people would be a neat trick .

Granting John Doe\'s expressed desires, he probably thinks that a random noise generator is what we all need, and he does inject a lot of it here.

Intercepted/detonated nuclear warhead in the air is not much better than in the ground. If anything, it will just spread radiation more evenly in the atmosphere.
