written with a lack of knowledge of it's subject matter.

Basil, I have received some very helpful advice from Phil in the past
and sometimes the people he pays out on do deserve what they get (like
the stupid git who started this topic).

However, he has also shown that he is unable to admit when he is wrong
and descends into mindless abuse as a defence mechanism. Do a Google
groups search for some of his past posts in this and other groups and it
will readily become apparent.

Also there have been quite a few people he has blasted with his
vitriolic personality for simple omissions and and honest mistakes, when
a polite post indicating these faults and asking for more information
would have done.

His victimisation of certain people is also well known.

I'll be the first to admit I don't suffer fools well, but compared to
Phil I feel almost saintly.
