Mainly, editors in Australia don\'t track hurricanes, or document them, or
approve of Flyguy\'s denial as a lifestyle.

LOL! YOU are the one in denial and can\'t answer a simple question: WHERE are the storms?

Gnatguy seems to think that the question is worth asking. We could ask where Gnatguy\'s intelligence is, but since there obviously isn\'t any, it would be just as much of a waste of time.

Hey, that ISN\'T statistics - it is just TABULATED DATA, FOOL! You might as well publish the telephone book and call it population statistics.

A telephone book doesn\'t organise it\'s data into tables. Once you\'ve counted items you\'ve done the first - and most important - step towards getting a statistical insight into your data. As usual, you\'ve demonstrated that you don\'t have the first clue about what you are talking about.

Telling us that the distribution might look like a Poisson distribution

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poisson_distribution

might be what you expect from a statistical analysis, but you asked for statistics, not a statistical analysis, and opened this tread with a reference to a single number, which did make it clear that you don\'t have a clue about statistics.

We\'ve finally got one for you.

https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-62947900

It\'s called hurricane Fiona. It\'s only a Category 1 storm, but still no walk in the park.

When did it make landfall, Bozo?

Yesterday, 19th September. You could - in theory - have looked it up for yourself , but we all know that you are suffering from advanced senile dementia and can\'t manage anything as complicated as that.

Even Fox News has covered it.

TERRIFIC, Now you have your FIRST storm of the season!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!

But, WAIT! NOAA predicted an ABOVE AVERAGE hurricane season with 14 to 21 named storms, including three to six major hurricanes.

https://www.noaa.gov/news-release/noaa-predicts-above-normal-2022-atlantic-hurricane-season

What was actually said was that there a was a likely range of between 14 and 21 storms - 65% chance - and a 10% chance of a below-normal season.

Gnatguy does enjoy his text-chopping. Weather forecasting is difficult - the weather is chaotic - and Gnatguy does take care to edit out the qualifying text that makes it clear precisely how tentative these predictions were.

Gnatguy wants to see alarmism, and he text-chops to get it.

LOL! It is Bozo, AKA SNIPPERMAN, that is ALL IN for \"text chopping!\"

Weather forecasting is difficult - the weather is chaotic -

WOW! The climate alarmists have NO PROBLEM predicting the weather out to the next CENTURY!

and Gnatguy does take care to edit out the qualifying text that makes it clear precisely how tentative these predictions were.

Hey SNIPPERMAN, it is YOU that \"edits\" things out!

Gnatguy wants to see alarmism, and he text-chops to get it.

Hey SNIPPERMAN, YOU are the one that \"text-chops\" the important stuff, not me.
