Our sun has been getting progressively bigger over the last few billion years - it surface doesn\'t get any hotter, but there more of it - so we don\'t need as much CO2 in the atmosphere as we did them. That is a very long term effect that he is ignoring.

It would probably help a lot by making the spectrum of the data more
noise-like. Another idea might be to convert the clock signal into a pseudo-random
sequence and XOR the data with it. Then reverse at the other end. That way
both the clock and the data would have a noise-like spectrum.
