Mike I am not going to post my resume here on newsgroups but to sum up, I
own 2 businesses, had 14 employees at one time, dont need another business
or a job, so there really isnt any point to going into details.

Thank you for your service to our country. Reading your note about working
under strict rules all your life certainly does explain why you are such a
fanatic about silly newsgroup charter recomendations - if it is called a
rule, obviously it must be obeyed to the letter, and violators punished,
preferably by firing squad.

Anyway, I sold enough of this lot already to recover my cost, thanks to the
attention that you and JOHN FIELDS PROFESSIONAL CIRCUIT DESIGNER drew to my
post, so I dont need to keep following up on it.

Have a great Christmas, I really am sorry to hear about your physical
infirmities; I have a few very very minor ones myself and it sucks to not be
able to do things as well or as quickly as I am used to.

As for your 2000 square feet of 'junk' - I can relate, I just moved my
warehouse this fall, 6500 square feet, 12 foot racking, and it amazes me the
amount of 'stuff' that accumulates. If you have the interest, shoot me over
a list of what you want to get rid of - I can either eBay it for you (yes,
of course, for a fee or if you want to set a price on the lot and have
someone pallet it we can talk about a bulk deal.

Had we 'met' under different circumstances I think I would have enjoyed it -
and congratulations, you sure pulled the rug out from under my buddy MARK

slowly taking my eyesight. I have severe swellings in my legs most days,
and I walk with a cane, after falling too many times. I have nerve
damage in my hands, and Carpal tunnel problems where I loose all feeling
in my hands. At my last job I hand soldered 288 pin ICs under a stereo
microscope. These were for DSP based dual divesrity telemetry recieveing
systems in the $80,000 range.


I have never had any problem making friends, so there goes your

rid of it. It is what is left of a 40 year collection.

I made a very difficult decision a few days ago that it is time to
start thinning everything out that I don't need, before it all ends up
at the landfill. Some is being given away, some sold, some scrapped,
and the rest is going to be donated to a local program where they use
scrap circuit boards to teach people to solder so they can try to get
assembly jobs at a local defense plant. I could probably sell lots of
junk on ebay but I don't even have, or want an account.


Substitute spam for junk (barely edible rations) and lunch for treasure
(warm delightful meal) and you get the idea.

away my cane to impress his little punk friends. Before he knew what
was happening, I had his arm twisted behind his back, politely asking
him to apologize, so I could let him go before his arm went completely
numb. It was amazing. From then on, he was very polite, would open
doors and had manners when he spoke to me. He even apologized again, a
few months later.

posts and SPAM on misc.industry.electronics.marketplace, where your
posts are on-topic and welcome, you should also be able to see the
difference on other newsgroups where your sales-related posts are

article, Google Groups includes the full article in quotes, with the
cursor at the top of the article. Tempting though it is to just
start
typing your message, please STOP and do two things first.
Look at the quoted text and remove parts that are irrelevant.
Then, go to the BOTTOM of the article and start typing there.
Doing this makes it much easier for your readers to get through your
post. They'll have a reminder of the relevant text before your
comment, but won't have to re-read the entire article.
And if your reply appears on a site before the original article
does,
they'll get the gist of what you're talking about."
