an obsolete part of which I happen to have 10 but no pinout or
datasheet.

Torque cannot be specified unless you know the motor RPM, but can be
calculated as follows:
Torque (in foot pounds) = [horsepower developed x 33000]/[RPM x 2pi]
So of (for example) your motor spins at 5000 RPM, the above amount of
horsepower output will translate to 0.081 Foot Pounds, or 0.973 Inch
Pounds. Adding gear reduction will multiply the output torque by the
same ratio that the speed is reduced (assuming 100% gearbox efficiency).
But more to the point, it seems that the original poster was grossly
confused if I understand his question correctly. There is no point in
specifying a motor on a mandated current draw, and mandated efficiency,
when you don't care what its actual work output is! Why not just use a
tiny tape recorder motor and hang a big resistor in parallel to burn up
the "reguired" current? The opposite approach is the only sensible
one: decide on the amount of torque or power you need, and then work
backwards to see what motor power and current draw is necessary.

It's a Wire-to-Board crimp connector, 2.50 mm pitch with a "true"
locking mechanism.
The board where it's on carries a lot of different JST connectors that I
was all able to identify, however this type is unknown to me and I
couldn't find it at any of the common makers of such crimp connectors.
There is absolutely no marking or branding on neither the header nor the
housing.
Any hints and suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Hello;
Does anyone know of a North American distributor for Nippon Tanshi, a
manufacturer of crimp terminals? We have tried in vain to find them, and
any help would be much appreciated.
