Help,
I'm looking for this photo diode for some time now. It is listed on
the manufacturers website, yet I can't find anyone selling it or get a
sample from the company. This looks like a flat metal disc with an
epoxy lens, about 3/8 inch in diameter (1cm) with two wires coming out
of the metal disc. It appears to be somewhat uniaue in that I haven't
found another device with the wsame charateristics. I need it to repair
an old video game called Operation Wolf (Taito).
I hope someone has one of these in an old smoke detector they are
playing with (common use apparently), but I've had no luck so far.
