The
latest scandal breaking is on the so-called Iraqi security force. It
turns out that the 91,000 members exist mostly on paper.

No the latest scandal is the 380 tons of explosives that were in one facility
in Iraq and were known about since the early 90's. The Bush Admin failed to
guard them and now they are missing!

Not really. They'll turn up pretty soon. In shipping containers in
vaious US ports.

Paul, I was pondering who was the supreme village idiot, Bloggs or
Rolavine... then you had to go and qualify as a candidate ;-)

I read that Kerry trails by 2 points among the illiterates- now we know.

-or more likely that un-inspected cargo hold material on airline
flights- they have enough to bring down a million aircraft- the little
vials are probably making their way into the global distribution network
now.
Humm... I've noticed airmail is a few days slower than usual. Maybe
they are sending it surface unannounced like they apparently did back
in '01.

No, what's outrageous is to think that income redistribution has any
place in a capitalist republic.

Name a capitalist republic that has not done redistribution? Capitalism itself
is about redistribution of wealth (land, labor, capital). What is outrageous is
your statement!
Involuntary income distribution. Taxation is theft.

Can anyone name one instance in the history of the known universe that
government redistribution of stolen funds (taxes) has actually done any
good for the people it was stolen from?

Sure, but first why don't you list one instance in the history of the known
universe of a government that didn't redistribute wealth?
Can't yet. Problem is, they usually redistribute it mostly to themselves.

The Bush admin has been redistributing to favor the top!

Taxes aren't stolen, it is your duty as an American to pay for the Govt.
if you can.
No it's not. My "duty" as an American is to be free and live my life
in the manner of my own choosing while doing no harm.

If you don't accept this contract please leave!
Sorry, you're not talking about a contract. You're rationalizing theft.

My country,
please pay for it or get the hell out!
Anything worth paying for will get paid for by the people who
want it. The ones that need to be ousted are the thieves.
Damn free lunch neocons!
What??

Oh, you're joking. I get it.

Cheers!

No, taxation is totally voluntary. You are absolutely allowed to earn
no income, or live alone on an island somewhere, and pay no taxes.
Cubans can't do that, but you can.

How about any city, town, road, school, or hospital in the civilized
world?

The Bush admin has been redistributing to favor the top!
No; what they did is tax the "top" somewhat less. That is, to some
people, the same as giving them money.

I'll be needing to know where this is, because I am unable to find any
land, or any place in the US where I can exist without paying a tax for
the use of the property. What islands are available to me, and not Cubans?

This is a most common misconception, as there is no place in the US to
live without pay a tax for the "privilege"

Sorry for noticing that you're a nazi and a murderer.

Sounds like you're still on those drugs, Rich.
Oh, a couple of posts ago I was merely mentally defective. Now I'm
a druggie too.

So there's two reasons to send me to the death camp.

Hope you and your fuehrer are very happy together.

Good Luck!

Fred I know this isn't new material but the election is close and it is
good
material!

Well - another fiasco in the making is that the US government just
exceeded the debt ceiling, and Sec Treasury Snow has informed Congress
that he can hold out no longer than Nov 14 by various means of
accounting chicanery, making late payments, and outright stopping
payments. The national debt ceiling can only be raised by Congress. This
law has been in effect since 1917, and, for all that time, the debt
ceiling has been raised by Congress on only five occasions, three of
which have been during the GW Bush administration- he will be something
like $3.3 Trillion is my guess. The LIAR wants to keep this little gem
out of the news until after Nov 2.
$3.3 trillion. How much is that? Per capita? Would selling a couple of
nothern states to Canada be a solution? Or selling some southern states
to Mexico? Or sell Florida to Cuba?
