Why Bush is a dangerous liar

"75% of Al Qaida leaders have been captured or killed"
Said once at the convention, and repeated four times in the debates, and one
additional time in the debates without using using the word leaders.

This man is a dangerous liar! Anyone that can look the American Public in the
face and say such a lie has no integrity at all. Please don't vote for this
dishonorable horror of a human being. We deserve lots better!

Think about what kind of shit comes out of Bush's mouth?
Think about listening to it for the next four years?

If he's elected, there might not _be_ a next four years.

We know all this already, and so does nearly everyone in America. The
latest scandal breaking is on the so-called Iraqi security force. It
turns out that the 91,000 members exist mostly on paper. Many of them
only show up for work to pick up their paychecks. Then many of them are
convicted felons, former Baathist officers, and insurgents. There has
been a massive vetting with the total number reduced to 40,000
overnight. So here is just one more of what is beginning to look like an
infinitude of seriously major Bush administration blunders of
catastrophic magnitude. The Iraqi security force was charged with
guarding that massive 760,000 pounds of high explosive which has
disappeared- and these are the kind of people they used- small wonder.
380 tons of HE is good for at least 2,000,000 inescapably powerful
roadside bomb attacks against US troops- and now UK troops. The
insurgent leader in Latifiya is boasting he can't wait to slaughter the
Black Watch Guard who will be moved into the region soon.

It already is, in case you haven't noticed. It's us that's moving.

Will the universe explode?

Implode.

No the latest scandal is the 380 tons of explosives that were in one facility
in Iraq and were known about since the early 90's. The Bush Admin failed to
guard them and now they are missing!

I wrote about this on another thread.

Well - another fiasco in the making is that the US government just
exceeded the debt ceiling, and Sec Treasury Snow has informed Congress
that he can hold out no longer than Nov 14 by various means of
accounting chicanery, making late payments, and outright stopping
payments. The national debt ceiling can only be raised by Congress. This
law has been in effect since 1917, and, for all that time, the debt
ceiling has been raised by Congress on only five occasions, three of
which have been during the GW Bush administration- he will be something
like $3.3 Trillion is my guess. The LIAR wants to keep this little gem
out of the news until after Nov 2.

$3.3 trillion. How much is that? Per capita? Would selling a couple of
nothern states to Canada be a solution? Or selling some southern states
to Mexico? Or sell Florida to Cuba?
I'm catching up a bit on this subject. Seems that Mr. Bush has made
a nice mess of things.

http://www.freep.com/news/politics/taxgrid23e_20041023.htm

I liked this (Bush) quote:

"In my first three years in office, I signed historic and comprehensive tax
relief that has... reduced the tax burden for 111 million Americans."

And this remark:
When he took office, there was a surplus of $236 billion, according to the
Office of Management and Budget. By the end of 2004, a record $413-billion
deficit is expected because of tax cuts, spending on national security, Iraq
and Afghanistan and interest on the debt. He says the deficit can be cut by
half in five years, but hasn't fully explained how.
-------

That is $649 billion gone somewhere. How on earth can you call these cuts a
tax relief. In the Netherlands we call that 'getting a cigar out of your
own box'.

Here's a quote from John Snow:
Treasury Secretary John Snow made the announcement in a letter to
Congressional leaders, warning that he had stopped borrowing funds and would
run out of time and gimmicks by mid-November. At that point, he wrote, "all
of our previously used prudent and legal actions to avoid breaching the
statutory debt limit will be exhausted."
-------

I don't envy this guy. Of course he has run out of trick. He must
have been scratching his head.

And this one:
Congress is scheduled to reconvene for a post-election session on Nov. 15,
and expects to raise the debt ceiling by $690 billion.
-------

Fantastic! Schedule it *after* the election. Brilliant. $690 billion, how
much is that per capita... another $2.000 on top of the $25.000?

I was joking about selling a couple of states to Canada or Mexico, but it
seems not such a bad idea ;)

Hey - been there, done that. When you liquidate, you're lucky to get
ten cents on the dollar.

US Dollar is in for a big dive.

It'll take more than Kerry to fix that, unfortunately ;(

I wish I'd have converted to euro before they started going down.

Must be your worst nightmare, Rocky. Do I detect the sound of desparation here?
You have been asked to say how much you put on that contract for the
Bush win. How come you have not answered? I know you're a scared little
stingy mouse dedicated to keeping /your/ money safe, but certainly with
all that smugness you should have bet some on your man. Once again we
see that you're a worthless fake- has Rove instructed you to act with
confidence- if a slime-ordinaire is what they want- they sure found one
in you.

This year the Alternative minimum tax will hurt millions of middle class tax
payers. This is tax increase! Bush's failure to repeal it makes every statement

No, what's outrageous is to think that income redistribution has any
place in a capitalist republic.

Can anyone name one instance in the history of the known universe that
government redistribution of stolen funds (taxes) has actually done any
good for the people it was stolen from?

So how many times did you have to pay to use the road on the way to work
this morning? Did water come out of your tap? Do you have paper money
in your pocket that the store will actually take? Was the milk on your
cereal actually milk, or was it just chalk, soap and water? Do you
notice that you're speaking English and not Japanese or German?

Name a capitalist republic that has not done redistribution? Capitalism itself
is about redistribution of wealth (land, labor, capital). What is outrageous is
your statement!

Sure, but first why don't you list one instance in the history of the known
universe of a government that didn't redistribute wealth?

The Bush admin has been redistributing to favor the top!

Taxes aren't stolen, it is your duty as an American to pay for the Govt. if you
can. If you don't accept this contract please leave! My country, please pay for
it or get the hell out!
