Which caps recommneded for high current ripple?

I need to do some high-frequency (up to several KHz), high-current (up
to several amps) pulse smoothing and need caps with good ripple specs,
approximately 220uF to 2200uF, 16-50WVDC.

I checked DigiKey's catalog and found the Nichicon VR and HE Series
(radial lead) and the Panasonic WA Series surface mount
electrolytics. Ripple specs seem pretty high (for the caps DigiKey
carries) but I was wondering if there is another line or manufacturer
that you could recommend?

Thanks!

Hi
Type "very low impedance capacitors" in Google
you will find immediately many many good companies that can supply your
needs:
vishay; chemi-con; cornell-dubilier; panasonic; nippo; etc. etc.

Thanks for responding!
I had done some previous searches but had come up with several dozen
good candidates and was hoping to find a way to narrow down my choices
a bit. :)

I've received some good info on other specs to be aware of (and their
affect on my application). A big Thank You to everyone who helped me
out!
