I don't know, but maybe look for '85C224' or '85224' in Google?

I don't know, but maybe look for '85C224' or '85224' in Google?

Thanks, CM, I found it from the OTP version (P85C224), which follows
Intel's usual numbering system of that day. IT's an old 8-macrocell
EPLD, upward replacement for the PAL/GAL 20V8.

Speakling of OTP, I peeled the label off an old AMI BIOS chip and found
that it had a little square 'window cover' stick-on under it. THe chip
was marked 27C512, but it's epoxy, not ceramic. So I peeled off the
window cover, and there was just more epoxy - where'd the window go?. I
presume that this is a OTP EPROM chip?

Yup. Pretty common before the advent of flash. The same chip inside,
just no window to allow you to erase it.
