voltage noise from batteries during discharge

Hi group,

Is anyone aware of data on the voltage noise to be expected from the
various
chemical batteries (alkaline, Ni-Cd, Ni-MH, etc.) during discharge? One
might
expect minute voltage jumps rather than a infinitely smooth decline,
perhaps.
