No Spam Here - Joe Schmo

Anyone know where to get any of these OR perhaps a substitute or a circuit
to replace? Have a power supply which uses one of these to operate. 5-15 VDC
@ 6 Amps or so. The circuit this is used in is pretty simple, but without
this part, the rest is useless. Aside from any ideas here, maybe modify the
circuit to work up to 10 Amps with some additional parts. Not sure what I
exactly have in mind.

Thanks

I believe that Micropac Industries manufacture a 78HG pin compatible
device with the type number 52150
http://www.micropac.com/pdf/products/VR52150-52175.pdf

You might check out the list of distributors or sales reps on their
home page http://www.micropac.com/index.html

Failing that I do have one only brand new original Fairchild uA78HGKC
in stock if you can't find anything local. Contact me if you get
stuck.

THANK YOU! I have to go out for a bit, but will do the home work upon my
return. Will let you know.
