TV remote Control works and does not work.

I have 20" phillip color TV and remote control.
The remote control did not work for 2 weeks and now it works again.
I took the remote control to TV repair shop and I've found out
that the remote control is no problem. I thought the problem in on
TV. NOw I don't know why it works and does not work. I believe
it will not be work again. Does anyone has any idea about why TV
control work and not work again? Thanx for rebut.

It can be a bad soldering of the big electrolytic capacitor.
If the capacitor looses contact, the transmitting data to the TV will be to
weak.
Open up the remote control and resolder the capacitor.

Red Cloud:
To help you absolutely determine where the problem is..... the remote or the
TV.... go buy a Cheapo universal remote and see if it works with the TV over
a few weeks.... frequently test the original factory remote along with the
cheapo universal...... these test results will reveal where the actual
problem is.
