No, it says that there was not reasonable cause for its use in the first
place.

The police do hire from the ranks of the congenitally baffled after all.
Is the problem the police, or those who think they know better ?

Having identified the problem so often for so long, what have the intellectual giants done
to fix it?

Who do you call when a certified violent nutter tells you your address? Mensa?

Ten news advises us that it's equivalent to 1 million volts. Apparently
they feel it's physically meaningful to add together the voltages in
successive jolts.

sigh

I wonder what is the sum of all the TV complaints line telephone numbers.

A million volts will start an arc nearly 2 metres in free air and will
almost certainly be fatal, given the energy required to initiate a
million volt arc. I had a good laugh when I heard this on the news.
A half million volt arc is fun to watch --> http://www.arcfault.org/video.htm

Perhaps if he recieved only 990000 volts |-|erc would be alive

If he received 990,000 * 1Volt "jolts" anyway. :)

Nah - have you considered how long that would take? Both he, and the

;)
A 1V square wave could deliver that many jolts reasonably quickly if the
frequency were high enough.

I was considering a "jolt" to be something expressly activated by the
officer.

What's so baffling about police lying to cover their
own arses, or just to
make their life easier?
They do it every day!
It's baffling that they would think they could get away
with it, given that they should know that the device
keeps a record, which would
certainly be looked at after a fatality.

The conclusion must be that the police officers
concerned are bafflingly stupid, or that the data is
bafflingly wrong.

Sylvia.

So do you expect the officers involved to be "charged"?
:))

OR

"Discharged" over the incident. :))

Well I thought it was funny anyway.

Cheers TT :))
I expect the fellow they killed doesn't
The inherent nature of humour is usually to make wit about
others misfortune. It is unfortunate that this guy died but
I did not directly make any joke about him, just the
officers involved as they are still alive and can still
answer back.

Unlawful killing should be brought to charge immediately
.
Normally one waits for some investigation to see who or what
is at fault first.

perhaps also gross stupidity
We are talking about Policemen here right? With a whole
million volts of taser stuck up their arses they still would
not qualify as being a "bright spark" ;-) See, more humour
:))

Cheers TT
