String pot for measuring distance and dynamic motion

I have a "stringpot" for sale on Ebay. In case you are not familiar
with one of these, they are an easy way to measure distance accurately.
It is also formally called a linear distance transducer. It is a very
rugged unit, has never been used and sold for $540. If you need to
measure dynamic changes in distances of up to 30 inches, this is one of

No, spamming is when it exceeds the Breitbart Index, and it takes more
than two to exceed it. It's a complicated formula for determining spam.

No, exceeding BI=20 is when it is generally recognized that the
spamming is so egregious that third party canceling is justified.

But once is still abuse.

None of the newsgroups in the sci.electronics.* hierarchy are intended
for buying and selling. An obvious giveaway is that none of them have
"forsale" or "marketplace" in their name.
