You're probably being overly harsh on JB as well as being guilty of
the same thing that you say he is lax on. After all, what is your
definition of 'decent resolution' if you yourself don't expect a
vendor to give you minimum timescale...which they did by the way in
this case by telling JB the method to determine that timescale.
