approaches.

A large percentage of the spam comes in via GoogleGroups. Filtering on
"googlegroups.com" in the Message-ID header line gets rid of that.

Most news SERVERS do a good job of filtering spam. If you don't like
spam, dump Google groups.

It's also likely to eliminate virtually all of the complaints about spam,
since the minute I see such a complaint I check the headers and the
message has been posted from google.
