G'day all
I found these circuits on the web and was interested in building them,
however I'm not 100% about all the
parts of the circuits. Would someone please have a look at answereing my
questionsabout them.
Thanks

What is VB referring to?
What is the A in a circle near the end of the circuit?
What are the two components that look like transistors
with a diode connected near the right side of the circuit
near R9?
What do you think should be the values of the diodes?

What is VB1 referring to?
What is VB2 referring to?
What is the A in a circle near the end of the circuit?
What are the two components that look like transistors
with a diode connected near R18?

What are the boxes markesd CLK?
What is the function of the switch near R27?
What are the two components that look like transistors
with connections marked A and B near the middle of the circuit?
What is VB referring to?
What is V+ referring to?
What are the values of the diodes?

The two circuits are meant to connect together.
The A and B show where.
You can see VB is made from the 9 volt source.
V+ is the main positive supply.
The two components that look like transistors ARE transistors. FET (look it
up)
The diodes are probably small silicon.
Clk is a clock circuit and the switch is selecting different characteristics
of the amplifier.

Hi Tom
Thanks so much for your input. It's obvious when someone points it out to
you.
I'm pretty rusty at this stage (I'd forgotten about FETs).
On the clock circuit, do you think this could be a commercially available
item or
something proprietry?
Thanks

It says on the schematic that it is a 4013 IC (more likely known as
a CD4013). The two blocks are parts of one IC.

As a bald yellow guy says quite often "DOH". Wood for the trees eh?
Thanks so much for your help.
Bought a breadboard and lots of components today, lots of playing to come.
Thanks again
