Hi,

I'm looking for a cheap sollution for power line communications. It
has to be simple and low speed (a few kBaud).

I've found the Ntional LM2893 with is perfect for this job. But,... it
has been discontinued since 1998. It seems as if there are no
alternatives as simple as the LM2893.

Does anyone know an alternative for this LM2893 (or LM1893) ????

Thanks.

Have a look at the ST7540.

Could speak about the setup of the ST7540. I am having issues starting the chip up.
