Has some serious issues. He got that pissed off with some of my comments
about me that he decided to go hunting through news group archives to find
my phone number (which is 0400 654 254), he rang me, with not a lot to say.

When go the first call I denied who I was (who knows what idiots would want
to ring), once I figure out who it was I told him that I am the poster known
as 'Spanky'.

The first call from Phil has the caller ID blocked, as did the second. The
third call he apparently forgot to block his number. If anybody wants his
number just send me an email and I will be happy to provide it.

He refused to believe that I was using my real name ( who would make up
Phil Allison ??? ) , that I use that same name as a business name and was
personally known to many folk on this NG.

Adam revealed that has never heard of Electronics Australia magazine.

Phil,
I can't help feeling that you may need to somewhat modify the way you
present yourself on this and other groups. With your name and address fully
available to those who may feel upset by your behaviour and language, the
least you should now do is change your phone number and see if you can find
a locksmith to secure your doors and windows. It may also be a good idea to
inform the local police station of your circumstances so they can keep an
eye out for you.

The sowing of bad seed is easy, but one day it has to be reaped.

I guess with Phil (and Rod) you just have to gnash your teeth
sometimes and accept the good with bad. They can both be
extremely helpful sometimes but merciless other times as their
moods suits them and whenever you leave an opening. I just see
them as some of the more interesting characters of cyberspace.
Life would certainly become very boring without them and it's
much too short to let anyone upset you.

That may be so but the sort of language used here by them isn't the sort of

I have no formal training in any form of electronics and have never calimed
to, in fact a few months ago I actually stated that electronics is nothing
more than a hobby of mine. My technical background is in computer
technology, not electronics.
