After this silly troll said a man should be considered "free"
because he is "not under arrest"... Now it says that being suspended
without pay is not punishment... lol.

The criminal judge intentionally helped the fugitive illegal alien...

That's why the Superior Court suspended it without pay.

Here we have a silly poster saying a defendant is "free" because it
is "not under arrest".

This is a big fuss over... basically, nothing. Undue pressure
onto the judiciary is the troublesome issue here (like, let's talk
about big-money costs which are NOT fines, being levied against a
sitting judge...).

The big clue here, is that 'suspended' is NOT punishment, it isn't a criminal charge,
nor a fine, and does not give this judge a hearing before a court.. It's
an administrative step only, and that looks like a challenge to the independence of
the judiciary branch from political influence.

Fugitive was in court, but not in law enforcement custody, didn't escape custody,
and the judge doesn't usually arrest defendants, nor did this judge do so.
