Amazon Firestick, Roku Express, ... , what is recommended?

I have the Roku 3, an older hdmi unit, no problems.
Check the reviews, the 'sticks' tend to have slower menu action.

Also, check to be sure the app you want is availble for the player.
I have a samsung blu-ray player and there is no sling-tv app for it.

Cheers

Is there a User's Manual? There's extra buttons on the remote, with
no explanation in the Quick-Start Guide. On-line I can find nothing
but juvenile videos :-(

Multi function remote? I think some are for the Roku TV and the Green
and Blue ones are for that stupid game thats in the system.

Cheers

I usualy fast forward to the end and play the last credits, that gets
rid of it.
You might be able to logon to netflix.com and remove it too, but I
have never tried that.

Yea, it's a minor anoyance.

Cheers

Yep. I fell back to the fast-forward, but that's gross >:-}

Define what you mean by "best" and at what resolution and on how fast a
connection? Some have fiddly remotes, slow menus or dodgy voice control
activation so it all depends on which features you value the most.

AppleTV is probably the nearest to trouble free but you are limited to
their idea of content. Amazon firestick tends to Amazonian content.

Roku and Android devices are a bit more open. Certain models have quirks
so it is worth deciding on what you think is most important to you.

Except for the 100+ apps you can install on it.
This video shows you how to get to Droidadmin,

From that source you can download at least 25 apps, very easy.
Certainly don't need 25, I mainly use two, Mobdro and Terrarium TV.

On the web (Netflix)...

Click "Account"

Bottom of page, Click "Viewing Activity"

Click "X" for something in list you want gone.

I think that Firestick is really the best. You can install Kodi on it and watch anything. Just make sure that you use a good VPN. Have a look at the guide from https://www.firesticktricks.com/install-best-vpn-firestick.html to learn more about it. Good luck, hope I was helpful to you

Just use your UL Data phone to do it.

Log your TV into your phone's hotspot and no more cable needed.
