Opto-isolator inputs

I have some questions about using an opto-isolator. I need to know if
a PS2506 opto-isolator can handle both AC and DC inputs. I have seen
circuits where only AC is used as the inputs to the opto-isolator. I
am working on a circuit that needs to indicate if either AC or DC
voltage is present. I would also like to know the values of needed
resistors for the LED'S in the opto-isolator. The input voltage for
both the DC and AC will be around 15 volts. Thanks.

Analog devices and proberly others too, can offer opto-isolated opamps

I need the optoisolator to sense AC or DC current, not voltage. I
also, need to know the amperage and current limits for the inputs on
the PS2506 opto-isolator and what value resistors should be used.
Thanks again.

Hello,

Did you try Google with simply PS2506. First entry is a pdf containing
the NEC datasheet........
