This is an Optiquest Q53 15" monitor, it has been working very
reliable for the past five years. Recently started about a month ago,
the picture start to go wide (outside of the viewable area), there is
a distinct flick sound when it did this. At the beginning, the wide
picture will stay for a few mins up to half an hour, and then it came
back to normal size, again with a flick sound when it came back.
Lately, the situation getting worse, the picture stay in wide and
don't come back to the normal size anymore. The picture becomes so
wide that if being adjusted back to the viewable area , both edges of
the picture serverly compressed.
Would be pleased if someone out there could point me to the right
group on the net where monitor repairing is the topic.
