It\'s like servicing the transmission, but i can\'t just go to
the local transmission shop. Not enough qualified technician to even touch
the 600 pounds 400V battery pack. For EVs to improve market share, we need
to have more technicians in this area. I am hoping to make the video for
people to get familiar with servicing EVs.
It is possible to rent a lift (bay) where you live? (dunno, I\'ve never tried
to; a friend has a lift in his garage to service his earthmoving equipment so
getting access to one hasn\'t been a problem, for me)

seem to find friends with these sorts of things in every state I\'ve
lived).

I think they make \"free standing\" (above ground) lifts, nowadays.
My friend\'s is set into the concrete slab and \"extra heavy duty\"
as it has to be able to lift backhoes, graders, small dumpers, etc.
(a regular car on it looks like a toy!)

My advice is to sell it and get a (much) better EV. The time you would spend doing any conversion (fix) would, at least, equal the value of the car if you considered your time worth anything. And, then, you would end up with a car that may be worthless because it has been extensively modified and wouldn\'t be touched by a dealer.
