Apart from abrasiveness and petulance, I expect the main reason folks aren't being very forthcoming is that if medusa gets killed doing this--which appears fairly likely--they don't want it to be their fault.

From the pictures it seems to us that you're attempting to create
something that you're not trained properly to do. Extra-high voltages
and ionizing radiation in X-ray equipment needs extra training and
careful understanding of the dangers in it.
It is just proper engineering ethic to not help you to grill yourself
or some unsuspecting other person.

Do you understand this design is going to create X-rays? Or is the schematic wrong and there is no tube as you have drawn it?

That is a bonus not an obligation. Presentation , just like in real life, tends to be the key to having a post be the object of entertainment or not. From the pictures it seems to us that you're attempting to create
something that you're not trained properly to do. Extra-high voltages
and ionizing radiation in X-ray equipment needs extra training and
careful understanding of the dangers in it.
It is just proper engineering ethic to not help you to grill yourself
or some unsuspecting other person.

In my day part of my lifetime was spent as a handiman..repairing frigs, washers, dryers, carpentry etc. Yes i have a decent workbench and a DMM, no scope (sadly). I am attempting to teach myself electronics but right now my health and pockets dictate an urgency to make this device. It is of benefit for my health...not by any means my death. I've used this type of device for about 15 years and I wanted to make a better one than the one that broke down on me and I can't afford to buy a ready made device. I do not identify it because of current rules and regulatory bodies and google groups are not what you'd call private.
