Hi, I'm looking for datasheets for a Toshiba d455c and D546c391 found on a
20-year old board. Does anyone have any information about these or know
where I should look? Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Try uPD455C (is there one digit missing?) or CD4555??? The second one
could be a uPD546C. Is it a 40-pin CPU or microcontroller? If so, then
I suspect it is ROMed - the 391 suffix would be the firmware ID.

BTW, are you sure these are Toshiba chips and not NEC?

Just in case the first number was a typo:

Franc,
I'm posting on behalf of a friend who doesn't speak English well enough to
have confidence to post. I kind of thought it might be NEC, too. I'll get
back to you soon. Thank you!
