Just creating a Website about SMPS design, repeat?

| This was stuck in the outbox:
|
| <div align="center"
| <IFRAME
| SRC="http://ln.doubleclick.net/adi/bottom.ln/tripod;h=misc;sz=728x90;
| !category=adult;!category=sexualovertones;ord=122076114023696?"
| width=728 height=90 frameborder=0 border=0 marginheight=0
| marginwidth=0 vspace=0 scrolling=no></IFRAME
| <br /
| </div
|
| That's an interesting ad script there. I guess my proxy filter got
| rid of it and I didn't see the picture. I was snooping around
| because I can't friggin' read and I thought
|
| "I Used These to Make This" said
|
| "I Used to Make This"
|
| and was going to help you fix yer link.

The adds get stuck in there by Tripod
I know. I just found it amusing tht they'd stick adult content ads
in.

so they are kind of beyond my
control. I might get bored with the flashing IQ rubbish and request
quality stuff(?) As to dodgy things.......

The concept of 'doubleclick' yuck.

Let me know if you want a nicer link.

I would've never tried it, but that orange on yellow looks good and
it's easy to read. Nice.

I think "never the less" should be "nevertheless" like "whereas".

You might, when this part of your site's finished, consider zipping
up the SMPS part of the site and placing a "zip file for off-line
viewing" link. Just put something at the bottom of each page to the
effect "This site updated regularly. Check here for updates." with
the absolute URL of your site. Some sites do that.

You are right. The orange on yellow does grow on you.

I'll concatenate my nevertheless.

Tripod would probably kick me off if I allowed a Zipped download. They
want their advertising.

It does print out quite well though.

Cheers

He's probably out of apostrophes because the Germans have started to put
them not only --at first-- before the trailing genitive-s, but then also
before every trailing s. Both is incorrect. You can see Genome's missing
apostrophes plastered on shop signs all over the country. Ughh.

Now that's a plus! you ever notice those "printer friendly" links?
I'd like to check google for some tips on that sometime. Make the
content printable from the start. All I can do now is keep my main
table layouts <= 640 px, but that has nothing to do with printing,
just viewing.

They use CSS to hide parts that have no usefulness in "real world" such as forms
and menus. I have a tutorial somewhere in a PC magazine, but it is in
Portuguese.

Actually, if tripod still gives you a CGI-bin, I have a script
you can have that gets rid of the ads.

My index.html is nothing but a redirect to index.cgi, which, since
it's not html being parsed by apache, but just a script making
stdout, the ads don't get injected.

Or something like that. At least, I don't have ads on the one main
page:
http://richgrise.tripod.com

Have Fun!

I think my news server may be up the Duff.

Distant cheering.

Ho Hum, As it says I'm putting together a website on the
subject of SMPS design. Basics through, ultimately, to
complexics.

You can have a look at

http://genome.dna.tripod.com/

If you feel that way inclined.

It's just a start, sometimes the piccies don't appear. They
are there, tripod loses them every so often. Try refresh.

In case my last one didn't get through... Thanks again for the site!
Really helps out to have the beginner stuff in there (like the
historical notes too).
