I need a bistable reed relay, dpst, lowest power consumption

Lowest cost wouldn't hurt either. Thanks for your time!
Why reed? Panasonic makes some good & small bistable signal relais.

Could you use fet's instead?

I need to keep it as simple as possible. And as cheap.

Ok try this.

Put a small permanent magnet near the relay and adjust the spacing so it
just doesn't
close the contacts. Then operate the relay in the normal manner and see
if it remains
closed with the power off, Reverse the polarity of the current in the
relay coil to release
the contact.

This may require that you reverse the permanent magnet to get the
magnetic polarity correct.
