Have you built one or is this just a thought?

There is no evidence of any thought at all.

That does seem a little harsh. Seems to me the OP has put some thought
in, come up with some ideas, and missed a point or two, as one would
expect. It does take time to come up with stuff that covers every
little thing. This is the normal learning method.

OP, Tell us more about it.

THIS:

My Bit-Resolution: unlimited

My Bandwidth: unlimited
My Sample Rate: unlimited
My Headroom: unlimited
My SNR: unlimited
My Dynamic Range: unlimited
My Frequency Response: 1 KHz and higher
My Advantages: Can handle unlimited amount of decibels without
clipping. Can handle high-frequencies [1 KHz and above]. No noise. No
'stammering'. Can amplify an infititely soft signal and make it
infinitely loud.

...shows signs of THOUGHT? You are very merciful!
What's more, it writes and asks questions. Remarkable! (Or is the code
word "marvelous"?)

And you are very tactful. But yes, I think its part of the learning
process. The OP came up with an idea that looked runnable. Thats
thought. Next is to learn about the issues with the above claims,
which are indeed faulty. Now put your hand on your heart and tell me
youve never been there :)

I think such discovery is a healthy thing, as long as the thinking
progress continues. In fact its what encourages people to go on and do
more, and learn the subject.

I've never been there. My very earliest experience with electricity, at
age 6 or so, was using the substantially-discharged batteries from my
father's flashlight (that he used when walking home 6 miles from work
during the WW2 blackout). I learnt all about the way useful energy
'disappears' when you use it - it becomes non-useful energy, of course.

Once you have that concept on board, it's a small step to understand
that no real physical process attracts words like 'unlimited',
'perpetual' 'over-unity' etc.

Well, by that definition, the guy at the corner fast food joint is an
engineer, 'cause he can get lotsa raw hamburger, and he can make what we
all want, i.e. burgers, from it. "You want fries with that?" :p

It's elementary, my dear Watson, that you need to learn elementary
logic. "If A, then B" does not imply "If B, then A". That said, my sig
is not a definition. It is a description of a process that extends far
beyond the making of any one thing or class of things. (Some of the
better engineers I've known had no engineering degree.)

Indeed; when you turn it round it becomes 'If NOT B, then NOT A'.

Right. I'm willing to claim that someone who can't make things work even
with an adequate supply of resources is not a practicing engineer,
whatever his credentials.

Alright, I'll bite. Now, how many engineers do you know who know
everything? How many are so thoroughly knowledgeable that there is
really nothing they cant do? Failure to attain omniscience and
perfection does not make someone fail to be an engineer.

I would say a good engineer appreciates that they are not omniscient.
Engineering is simply too large a field to know absolutely everything.

Good Lord! Even I don't know everything (though I'm loath to admit it).
Still, there's a lot to be said for the habit of making things work and
the mindset that makes one likely to reason out why they don't. If you
know nothing about two people but their professions and you must leave
only one to attempt to repair the sled runner so you can get home, would
leave the repair to the chemical engineer, or to the shoe salesman?

I agree with you on that, just nitting picks saying the definition is faulty.

Hmm... well, I guess the shoe salesman would know more about runners. ;-)
