I've told you the results and how to test it for yourself. YOU just refuse
to measure it yourself, so you can claim you have never seen the problem!

Not on any deck I've measured (3 * Panasonic, JVC, Sony, NEC) I'd love to
know where you get that figure as typical. Manufacturers brochures perhaps?
And what's the typical performance before noise reduction Phil?

There is no possible way to detect by ear such low level noise when there is
clean sound 60 dB louder at the same time.
