Can't you blow all this away with a good SDR? ADC are pretty durn good these days and once in the digital domain with enough headroom, you can do pretty much anything you want.

This is becoming realistic even for he customer market. Use an analog
front end filter for 88-108 MHz and undersample at 50-80 MSPS. At
least 14 bit ADCs are available at reasonable prices.

You play that ? I think I have a couple times but forgot everything, but it is in the pinochle/spades/66 family of games.

I never took to 66 but I played auction freezout pinochle well which makes bridge look like spades, and I am a master at spades.

Euchre might be fun to learn.

One interesting part is that a full scale LEFT only or RIGHT only signal = 100% modulation.

AND

Full scale LEFT + RIGHT is also 100% modulation.

I like the little history segment. FM as we know it got started the
year after I was born. WEFM Chicago and WGFM Shcenectady.
