Fluke 77 repair advice Sydney

"Mr. T" = brain dead, NG troll
"Phil Allison"

** Not this load of anal, pedantic, bloody CERTIFICATE **CRAP**
again

Typical Phil, anything he doesn't understand must be crap or a scam.

** Typical Mr T (????) non explanation - the autistic POS only ever
just snips, avoids the issue and insults.

** Nope - but then I am not a fucking parasite.

I don't think you will find anyone to agree with that.

** Desperate non reply from a desperate fraud.

Calibration is the act of checking the _current_ accuracy
of the unit.

** Not the topic.

" An expensive meter with NO calibration certificate is worthless."

Context is a foreign word to autistic control freaks like Mike Harding.

The only mistake is yours Phil.

** Shame this sorry excuse for a POS cannot correctly point to one.

I find it surprising you have total trust in instrument manufacturers to
be
able to supply equipment that *never* goes out of spec, and yet you have
little trust in other manufacturers to supply equipment that meets spec at
time of delivery.

** More of Mr T 's self serving verbal excreta.

Since his position is indefensible he resorts to posting his deranged
thoughts.

Fact is, some people *need* to know what they're measuring. Some don't.
You are fortunate that you don't.

MrT.

** What a fucking nut case ..... puke, puke, puke, puke .....

I've already explained it all Phil. If you can't read, or understand, or
perhaps do a little research for yourself, then that's your problem.

It's not like you are worth wasting time on or anything.

When Phil's only content is insults, you know he has no case.
This is continued until the other person gives up, so Phil can have the last
word.
He then thinks he has "won" the argument, but he is the only one.

So Phil, if you want to think you have "won" anything, be my guest.

If you had finished your EE course though, you would have done a semester on
measurement practice and techniques. That might have at least given you some
clue about metrology.

Mr.T,

Getting the drift that Phil Allison is indeed the Pavlov's dog of the
newsgroups? You just know he's going to have an alternative point of view
and will be voicing it no matter how stupid it is. By your (or anyone else)
posting anything you know it's like ringing the dinner bell for poor Phil
and he will be compelled to respond.

Checkout an article on Ivan Pavlov and a small outline on his research at -
http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/aso/databank/entries/bhpavl.html ,which suggests PA
fits the profile. Especially the bit in paragraph 3.

Cheers,
Alan

** A vile puke from Perth that Telstra made redundant.

Now he fakes it pretending he can train people.

Only to be a stupid as he is.

i got a fluke 19 made in china, i got it from dick smith on special. it
switches on by itself while in the off position and have to fiddle with the
switch to get any range to work properly, it beeps and carries on.

ive hardly used it, but it is more than 12 months old and out of warranty.
what are my options you recon?

Fluke have produced some shockers though, look at the asian
manufactured Fluke 19. We had three of those that have failed, all with
the same fault.
They were however built down to a price and designed to compete with
the cheapies. It was quickly removed from the market.

Awe, you disappoint me Phil. You've down graded me to just plain vile puke.
Surely you can do better than that? Lost your Readers' Digest dictionary or
your copy of 101 Insults for all Occasions?

However as reliable as ever, you just proved that by responding to my post,
you are indeed the Pavlov's dog of the newsgroups.

Cheers,
Alan

That's the exact same fault we had on 3 units.
I still have two dud units I don't know what to do with.
If they didn't switch on and waste the battery when in off mode they
might be useful for buzzing out stuff or something. But when they chew
the battery...
Out of warranty there is nothing you can do I suppose, but it appears
to some sort of design fault, so I guess if you complained enough Fluke
might do something? Then again...

Dave :)

if anyone knows of a fix for it i will have a go.

the unit i purchased was a warranty return and had been "fixed" by VMS in
sydney according to the sticker, it was fine for a few months then just got
worse. i regret not having returned it when i had the chance.
