FBGA vs QFP

Hello,
I'me thinking of dropping an altera cyclone2 FPGA chip onto one of
PCI-tools (www.pci-tools.com) PLX PCI adapter boards. But I really
odn't know which package i should order, FBGA or QFP.

Have any of you had any experience with FBGA or QFP packages? which is
easyer to work with? I think the Fine Ball Grid Array might be a bit
hard, but QFP seems also hard to sodder.

Thanks all.

FBGA requires much harder design rules (e.g 140um lines/space and 300 um
drills). For QFP you can go with 200 um lines/space and 400 um drills.

QFP is also much better inspectable after soldering.
