Disable LED on garage door opener console...

I installed a new garage door opener yesterday, and the new wall
console/opener has an obnoxiously bright, always-on, red LED that I want
to disable.

The LED connection on the PCB is circled. Is there a way I can disable
that connection and kill the red LED?

Unsolder it. Or just use thick tape to cover it.
