I'm looking to ID an unknown variety of diodes. I've salvaged them off
some older monitors, and they have the following symbology:
Either ---[ --> <-- ]--- in a square box or a plain and simple
---|><|--- The second symbol correlates to a gunn diode, or so GIS
tells me, but these just don't look like the pictures it displays of
real gunn's. Physically, they are between a 1/4 and a 1/2 W resistor
in size, and they have three coloured bands on them, with a noticeable
gap between the first and second bands. They have a clear outer shell,
with some sort of metal a couple mill's wide inside of them, but my
eyes can't really make out any details on it.
Anyway, any help is appreciated.
