I have a SCR which is labeled ST Morocco BTW69-200NC then on the bottom
line, it says C409........

I looked it up in my ECG replacement guide, but it showed only BTW69-200N.
The "C" is not there. Anyone care to tell me if that may make a difference?
Maybe you have a book which shows that? It lists a ECG 5539 as the
replacement.

Also, I have 3 transistors in this same circuit which I couldn't find a
listing for in the ECG guide, unless I missed them.
They're labeled........

Sksp56 EB411

Anyone have any info on them, as to type or replacement?

Thanks........

often different package types will mean a tacked on letter, smt vs dip,
plastic vs ceramic, heatsink mounting hole vs none, etc etc yada yada,
meaning that you can use it as a direct replacement in most cases.
unfortunately, without the data sheets you won't know for sure.

The current ST BTW69 comes in 2 versions, ie. TOP 3 insulated (all
plastic case) for voltages 200, 400, 600, 800, 1000, 1200 @ 50A and
TOP 3 uninsulated (metal tab N version) for voltages 600, 800, 1000,
1200 @ 55A. If your version is all plastic as I suspect it is, then
the only relevant information on the package is the BTW69-200. Any
additional is text is likely to be of manufacturer interest only.

Thanks to all who replied and helped out. Now to acquire the parts - which
I'm now looking up with those I deal with. Though there are three of the one
transistor, only one was defective. I tried to get a schematic and parts
list from the manufacturer - but found they're no longer in business. The
unit was dropped while plugged in and turned on and well.... metal to PC
board - one hell of a short occurred. Such is life..... Thanks again - to
all...
